Straw Blankets & Matting

Straw is manufactured using agricultural straw fibers. A single or double net is then stitched to the topside or both sides. We offer a green color-coded plastic netting for applications requiring UV resistance, strength, and longevity. Or a quick break down is an option also, it is color-coded white to identify it as a rapid-breakdown, polypropylene netting designed for use in areas to be mowed. Also available is our Fibrenet - 100% biodegradable netting - for use in critical environmentally sensitive areas. This Matting also comes in different widths and lengths for all you requirements.

Straw Logs & Wattles

Wattles are tubular products consisting of the finest available agricultural straw fibers encased in durable netting. Properly installed Straw Wattles are effective at trapping sediment, generally more effectively than straw bales. During rain storms, the Wattles intercept surface storm water runoff (but not concentrating or channeling the runoff) and reduce the velocity of flow. Water passes through a Straw Wattle while leaving behind the sediment on the uphill side of the roll, thereby reducing sediment erosion. Different sizes and lengths are available for your specific needs.

Siltsoxx

Siltsoxx is a three-dimensional tubular sediment control and storm water filtration device typically used as a Silt Fence Replacement for sediment and soluble pollutants on and around construction activities. Siltsoxx traps sediment and soluble pollutants by filtering runoff water as it passes through the organic structure, and by allowing water to temporarily pond behind the device, allowing deposition of suspended solids. Sediment control is also used to reduce runoff flow velocities on sloped surfaces.

Silt Fence

Silt Fence is a temporary sediment control device used on construction sites to protect water quality in nearby streams, rivers, lakes and seas from sediment (loose soil) in stormwater runoff. Silt fences are widely used on construction sites in North America and elsewhere, due to their low cost and simple design, although their effectiveness in controlling sediment is often rather limited, due to problems with design, installation and/or maintenance. Different lengths and grades are available for all your requirements.

Excelsior Blankets & Matting

Curlex CL blankets consist of unique softly barbed, interlocking, curled, excelsior fibers. Curlex blankets are specifically designed to promote ideal growing conditions for seeds, while simultaneously protecting topsoil from wind and water erosion. Matting comes in 8ft and 16ft widths and up to 150ft lengths for all your specific needs.

Excelsior Coir Logs

Curlex Sediment Logs are versatile excelsior logs comprised of an outside containment fabric and filled with unique Curlex® fibers. Curlex Sediment Logs are porous, allowing water to pass through the excelsior matrix, progressively slowing velocity and filtering sediment as it passes through the log diameter. Sediment Logs are extremely flexible and contour to the terrain to maintain intimate contact with the sub-grade. Properly installed Coir Logs are effective at trapping sediment, generally more effectively than straw bales During rain storms, the Logs intercept surface storm water runoff (but not concentrating or channeling the runoff) and reduce the velocity of flow. Water passes through a Coir Log while leaving behind the sediment on the uphill side of the roll, thereby reducing sediment erosion. Different sizes and lengths are available for your specific needs.
